Reiki is a Japanese technique that is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. Reiki is a form of spiritual healing using "universal life energy" channelled through the practitioner to the recipient.

Reiki was discovered by  Dr. Mikao Usui (1865-1926), who taught this healing mehod system.  The healing system has expanded over the years. Usui Reiki Ryoho signifies the  « Usui  channelling technique of universal energy»  is the traditional form of Reiki based upon the original teachings of Master Mikao Usui.
